Oracle and Eclipsys partner to provide no-charge COVID-19 BOTs to Canadian Hospitals
Eclipsys Solutions is partnering with Oracle to offer no-charge Digital Assistants to Canadian Hospitals during the COVID-19 Pandemic for up to 3 months.
As the spread of COVID-19 continues in Canada and around the world, the sharing and dissemination of accurate information to the Canadian public become critical. Hospitals across Canada are being taxed exponentially in every way. This includes an inundation of the hospital call centres with public enquiries regarding personal safety, prevention recommendations and status updates, amongst other things.
In light of these circumstances, Oracle has developed a COVID-19 BOT. The technology offers an interactive online experience for anyone visiting the hospital website. Individuals visiting these sites will have access to instant online dialogue by using either text or voice commands. The content is updated in real-time and can be linked to a number of data sources including specific information from the hospitals themselves, and the latest from Health Canada, WHO, and the CDC.
Oracle is offering this technology through Eclipsys Solutions Inc., a leading Canadian IT Services Partner who will provide professional services at no charge for the purposes of implementation and configuration for each hospital. Longer-term, through this partnership, Eclipsys can assist hospitals to manage the platform.
